In tabula rasa theory, we're born with a clean mental slate. I believe, however, in that which is inherited through both DNA and the collective cloud. Thus, some tribulations come into a soul's picture, like it or not. Past sins, cultural travesties, all that. This is dark hip hop that pays homage to my people all over the historical and contemporary fabrics. You can hear those influences, from East to West to South. What will you paint on the canvas you're given? White space, negative space, inner space - you see that it's all there when you squint.
